BIRD FAIR CONTRACT
RULES AND REGULATIONS
- All
birds brought to the bird fair must be in good health and condition and
must be available for inspection in your space at 9:00 AM. Doors will
be open at 8:00 AM.
All birds will be visually examined by a Veterinarian or in his/her absence
by a member of the Fair Committee and GCCBC Officer. Any birds displaying
illness must be removed.
NO BIRDS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING AFTER VETERINARIAN INSPECTION.
- Cages
should be of a suitable size for the birds contained therein, and must
be clean and of a type to protect the tables or stands from soil or destruction.
No birds will be admitted in any other type of cage except by special
permission of the Fair Committee or Club Officer.

Ownership of birds brought to the Fair should be that of the person representing
the sale or display. Proof of said ownership should be available. Persons
selling ENDANGERED SPECIES must have proof of PRT permits.
The State of Illinois requires a license for selling birds other than
those bred by the seller and may request proof. Information about this
law may be obtained by contacting the Illinois Department of Agriculture.
Illinois sales tax information may be obtained from the Illinois Department
of Revenue.

Baby birds that are NOT WEANED may not be sold at the Fair.

No sub-letting of tables/space permitted. If you are unable to use your
table/space, contact the Fair Committee.

GCCBC reserves the right to withhold table/floor space from NON-CONTRACTED
VENDORS.

All sellers must abide by GCCBC rules and those of the facility where
the fair is held.

GCCBC, Inc. accepts NO responsibility for individuals participating in
any club activity.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE TO THE SELLERS FOR LOSS OF TABLE RENTAL.

NO SMOKING will be permitted in the sale room at any time. Please smoke
at least 25 feet away from the entrance door so the entranceway is not
blocked and so that the smoke will not drift inside.

Vendors may not sell birds to under-age children (minors) unless accompanied
by a parent or guardian.

KITCHEN will open at 8:30 AM for Hot Coffee, fresh Donuts and Bagels.
LUNCH MENU will include Hot Dogs, Pizza and a surprise Sandwich.. A variety
of snacks will also be available.
